Air Ambulance Services (Medical Evacuation)

In cases of acute emergency, some patients request medical evacuation from Indonesia to overseas hospitals. PT. MIA collaborates with a Singapore-based air ambulance service company, to transfer patients from point A to point B, mainly but not restricted, between Indonesia and Singapore/Malaysia. A vice versa service, transferring patients back to Indonesia is also available.

This service makes use of a chartered airplane from Singapore. Within the plane are also supports from Singapore- Singapore medical doctors/nurses, equipment and medicine.

Patients requesting such services include:

• Patients in ICU.
• Accidents requiring orthopaedics surgery.
• Stroke and heart attacks – after conditions are stabilised (Singapore team will make the assessment if transfer can be safely executed or not).
• Patients who seek treatments overseas but request privacy/confidentiality.
